The Torrington Titans make the most of 7 hits in 4-1 victory over the Pittsfield Suns

The Torrington Titans (13-21) and the Pittsfield Suns (13-20) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Torrington Titans that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-1 win at Wahconah Park.
Mike Kochiss put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Torrington Titans. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the second and sixth innings.
The Pittsfield Suns' lineup had no answer for Nick Mondak. Mondak gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.
