Jacob Munch

Jacob Munch is a rising senior at UMass Amherst. Majoring in Sports Management, he is in the Isenberg School of Management and the Commonwealth Honors College. Born in Los Angeles, CA, Jacob has spent most of his life in Lenox, MA and graduated from Lenox in 2019. Not only did Jacob grow up going to Wahconah Park each summer to watch the Pittsfield Colonials and then the Pittsfield Suns, he also played at Wahconah Park in high school. At UMass, Jacob broadcasts soccer, field hockey, basketball, baseball, and softball for ESPN+ and UMass Sports Network but his largest role was being the color commentator for the Atlantic 10 Champion UMass Women’s Basketball team, on their official radio network, WMUA FM 91.1. Jacob was recently named Sports Operator for WMUA for the upcoming school year. This summer, Jacob is looking forward to being part of another summer of baseball at historic Wahconah Park as well as providing Suns fans with a broadcast for every road game this season!
